In the first change of publishing agency for over 10 years, Square One was appointed by the Met Police in 2006 to publish The Job, their publication for police officers and staff.

Following research which showed that more and more Met staff were turning to the service’s Intranet for their internal news, Square One developed a new strategy for the magazine, which complemented their online activity.

The Job has shifted from being a fortnightly newspaper to a monthly magazine. All the relevant issues are being explored in more depth: the new remit means more room for debate, a broader sample of opinion and deeper analysis.
