Square One Publishing to head up consumer magazine push in partnership with The Sunday Times and Mail on Sunday Square One Publishing will distribute two of its clients’ magazines – watch retailer David Morris Stores and Lakeside Shopping Centre – in two quality Sunday newspapers this month. Produced by Square One Publishing, the David Morris Stores glossy – Watches At Selfridges – will be bagged with The Sunday Times Style Magazine on 26th November. Targeting the London area, the 52-page magazine will go out to 250,000 readers in the capital during a key sales period in the run up to Christmas. Featuring a selection of the most exclusive watches on the market, including timepieces by Breitling, Bulgari, Cartier, Chanel, Chopard, Tag Heuer, Gucci and Omega, the magazine will direct readers to the David Morris Stores Watchroom in Selfridges on Oxford Street – Europe’s largest watchroom. Square One Publishing, which has worked for David Morris on a range of projects over the past three years, won the account following a competitive pitch. The publisher is working closely with the Selfridges marketing team to tie in with the department store’s key Christmas theme. Simon Bodle, managing director of David Morris Stores, said: “We have chosen The Sunday Times because its profile is a perfect match for our customers: affluent, style-conscious shoppers looking for inspiration at Christmas. “We are again working with Square One because of its in-depth watch sector experience. Once again the creative is breathtaking and sits perfectly alongside the Sunday Times Style Magazine.” Separately, the publisher has worked closely with EKAY Advertising to seal the distribution of Lakeside’s autumn/winter customer magazine, Inspire, with copies of The Mail on Sunday’s You Magazine on 12th November. A total of 307,000 copies of Inspire will go out to readers within a 30 minute drive of the shopping centre, located in Thurrock, Essex. The magazine was relaunched by Square One Publishing last year to enhance loyalty and drive reappraisal of the shopping centre. Lakeside retailers showcase their collections in the magazine, which also includes fashion tips, features and competitions. Sean King, Square One Publishing director, added: “We’re convinced these newspapers are the most appropriate distribution channels to maximise the impact of the publications, considering their reader demographics.” |
