Square One was a close runner-up in its category in Marketing magazine's Marketing Agency of the Year 2004. While John Brown Citrus Publishing came top in the Customer Publishing Agency of the Year category, Square One spearheaded a list of the "Best of the rest." With an increase in net turnover in the past year of 50 percent to £3m, Marketing had already pegged Square One as the fastest-growing larger publishing agency. The company won eight new accounts in 2004, including Waterstone's Books Quarterly, VisitBritain's Taste England and Gala Casino's Player. Square One's creative director, Peter Dean, said: "It's clearly an honour, but what makes it all the more exciting is we were such a close runner-up to winning customer publishing agency of the year. Next year, we plan on improving on that." |
